Easy, Evening Eyes

1202-eyeshadow

For those date nights when you’ve booked a sitter and go out on the town, the last thing you want to do is fuss with make-up. A great smokey eye can be easier said than done, but with this four-step, four-product tutorial you’ll be ready for a date night faster than you can say, “We’ll be home at 11 p.m.”

  1. Use a neutral, matte shadow over your lids between your lashline and your crease.
  2. Trace upper lash line starting at the innermost part of the eye with dark pencil (using Kohl eyeliner will make it easier to smudge with finger/brush to create an easy smoke effect).
  3. Go over the line with dark eyeshadow, using a blending brush out and over the lid.
  4. Dust highlighter just under your brow and on the inner corner of your eye, blending the shadows so they seemlessly cover the lid.
