Target’s debut of the limited-edition Jason Wu collection on Sunday, February 5, went reasonably smoothly compared with the frenzied Missoni debacle last fall—Target and Missoni basically broke the internet.
This time the biggest problem had nothing to do with the World Wide Web, but with the opportunistic consumers who hoarded merchandise only to sell it at a much higher price point on outlets like eBay. If you were like me, and weren’t able to get any one of the 50-piece Jason Wu collection, you could probably find it online (just don’t look on Target.com).
This flirty collection included everything a spring wardrobe is supposed to have—floral skirts, colorful shift dresses, and effortless separates in fabric that feels like it would hold up for more than one season.
