Exmoor Country Club served as the backdrop for First Presbyterian Church’s much-anticipated annual auction and benefit, held this year on April 21. Entitled “Bid For Better Lives: Paddles Up!,” the event saw more than 260 supporters and raised more than $60,000 for the Lake Forest church. The evening included cocktails, four different auctions, and dinner. The church recognized Dr. Frank and Michelle Yamada, Dr. Christine and Paul Vogel, Janae Denton, and Cathy Curran, calling out each of their agencies as instrumental mission partners. Carrie Ford served as the evening’s chair, and Maureen Olsen, Nancy Thompson, Laura Sibley, and Sue Barkhausen served as co-chairs. For more information, visit firstchurchlf.org.
