Woodlands Academy
As part of kicking off the Winter Wonderwalk, a 15-year tradition in Lake Forest, supporters of Woodlands Academy gathered on December 6 on the school’s campus for a preview of the finest the famed Holiday Boutique had to offer. While the preview evening was a private event, nearly 750 guests shopped the Winter Wonderwalk Boutique over the course of the event’s two days, and nearly 550 of those toured the four homes, as well as the Idea House, a home brimming with decorating, gifting, and entertaining ideas. The more than $50,000 raised from the event will be put toward scholarships funds at Woodlands Academy. Sponsored by the Mothers Club, The Winter Wonderwalk 2011 co-chairs were Mary Oelerich of Chicago and Pam Kendall of Evanston. Boutique Chairs were Kathy Dasso of Lake Bluff, Celeste Denton of Wilmette, and Jeanmarie Olson of Evanston.
