The University of Chicago Cancer Research Foundation Women’s Board
On November 12, The University of Chicago Cancer Research Foundation (UCCRF) Women’s Board wowed their supporters during their annual gala, this year entitled “Avant Garde,” held at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago. Everything during the night sparkled—from the spandex covered mirrored tables in the ballroom, to the live auction which featured a platinum and diamond drop pendant necklace from Tiffany & Co.’s Legacy Collection. Terri Brady and Tricia Cox, both of Chicago, served as the event’s co-chairs, and Lidia Devonshire of Lake Forest sits as President. More than $750,000 was raised for the continued support of cancer research at The University of Chicago Cancer Research Center, which provides world-class programs in cancer genetics, immunotherapies, pharmacogenomics, bio- and clinical informatics, and other targeted therapies.
