Carnival in West Park
Lake Forest Day
West Park was a flurry of activity on August 2 and 3, during the Carnival in celebration of the 103rd Lake Forest Day. Lake Forest American Legion Post 264 presented the two-day celebration, which featured rides and games. Like any great carnival, the food and drink served as the main draw and included hot dogs, roasted corn, plus an extensive beer garden. Attendees on August 3 enjoyed the town parade earlier in the morning, then took to the Carnival to unwind after celebrating such a special city as Lake
Forest.
